President-elect Hassan Rohani, in response to felicitation message of Saudi Arabiaˈs King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz, expressed confidence that with prudence of regional countries peace and stability can return to the region.
According to the report of President-elect Office Media Affairs on Monday, Rohani stressed that paying attention to regional countries and neighboring states is one of the priorities of Iran foreign policy.
In response to felicitation message of Maldivesˈ President Mohammad Waheed Hassan, Rohani called for expansion of friendly relations between the two countries as well as strengthening ties with Islamic and regional states.
In another reply message to Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, the president-elect said that developing and deepening brotherly and friendly ties between Iran and Lebanon was one of the priorities of Iranˈs foreign policy, underlining that strengthening ties between Tehran and Beirut would be among the objectives of the new administration.
