Moscow, July 2, IRNA – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday described completion of Bushehr nuclear power plant as an example of constructive cooperation, calling on Russia to build new power plants in Iran.
In a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kremlin Palace, President Ahmadinejad said the two countries had made preliminary talks about building new nuclear power plants, adding the start of the projects needs an okay from the Russian President.
He called for full implementation of oil and gas deals already signed between Iran and Russia.
President Ahmadineajd heading a delegation arrived in Moscow on Monday to attend the second summit of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) and to confer with his Russian counterpart on international developments.
