Tehran, Jan 29, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian lashed out at Israel for expansion of settlement construction, and said that the so-called peace talks is only pretext for Israel to continue its aggression against Palestine.
In a meeting with member of the Fatah Central Committee Jibril Rajoub in Tehran on Tuesday, Amir Abdollahian said, Islamic Republic of Iran believes that these talks are only a cover-up for Zionist settlement expansions.
He underlined that the issues of the holy Quds and Palestine have always been one of the most concerns of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Tehran has used its capacities to support the Palestinian cause and maintaining the solidarity of the Palestinian groups in line with their confrontation with inhumane attempts of the Zionist regime.
The advocates of Palestine expect the Palestinian officials to seriously stand up against the expansionist policies of Israel and do not spare any measure to obtain the rights of the Palestinians.
