Tehran, March 5, IRNA – Insecurity and terrorism do not have their roots in Afghanistan and are designed and orchestrated from outside, Afghan ambassador to Iran said on Wednesday.
Afghanistan is grappling with violence and insecurity, said Nasir Ahmad Nour, while noting that ˈterrorist and suicide attack have no place in our ethical and religious teachings.ˈ
He deplored terrorism the Afghan people are exposed to and regretted that terrorism is being carried out in the name of Islam.
He said that terrorism has nothing to do with Islam.
He called for implementation of the Afghan Constitution in order to foil the plots hatched by enemies of Afghanistan.
Referring to the upcoming presidential election in Afghanistan, the ambassador said that political way is open to all political groups in the country and there is no reason for anyone to resort to violence to achieve their goals.
