The statement that infuriated the
Venezuelan government Biden made in connection with massive
anti-government protest actions in Venezuela, or rather, with severe
actions that Venezuelan law enforcement agencies took to suppress the
riots. Since the beginning of February, more than 20 people have been
killed as a result of the efforts of security forces to disperse
opposition rallies. Some of the victims died from gunshot wound.
