Berlin, April 4, IRNA -- Dutch King, Willem-Alexander, has stressed his countryˈs readiness to open a new chapter in its relations with Iran.
Receiving the letter of credentials of Iranˈs new Ambassador to Holland, Alireza Jahangiri, at the royal palace, the Dutch king referred to a planned Dutch parliamentary trip to Iran
later this month, branding it useful and constructive.
The Dutch king highlighted also the long history of bilateral ties.
For his part, Jahangiri reaffirmed Tehranˈs commitment in expanding ties with Holland in all areas.
He pointed to 400 years of bilateral ties and the presence of 40,000 Iranian expats in Holland as a major factor in promoting ties between the two countries.
